Meet Gali
Gali (Galina) is a self-taught Ukrainian-born artist based in New York, whose family immigrated to the U.S. as refugees in 1991. Despite a career in the medical field, Gali consistently nurtured her passion for art, attending master classes and experimenting with various styles. Since 2018, painting has become central to her life, with her works focusing on themes of enlightenment, spiritual growth, and divine connection. Her innovative "Manifestation Mirrors" invite viewers to engage deeply with the artwork, fostering personal reflection and spiritual transformation. Gali's art, known for its spiritual magnetism, resonates with themes of love, unity, and human connection, often sparking transformative experiences for those who acquire her pieces. As an artist and human being, I often explore the concept of duality and the challenges that come with it. My artwork reflects the journey of overcoming this separation, emphasizing the unity that exists within all of us. Although we may perceive ourselves as distinct individuals, we are inherently part of a collective spirit, interconnected like drops in the ocean. This oneness with the universe, though often obscured by the illusion of separation, is the essence of enlightenment. My spiritual journey has taught me that we are spiritual beings experiencing life in human form, navigating through physical pleasure and pain to learn and grow.
My artwork embodies this transformative journey, blending surrealistic elements and abstract symbolism to illustrate the harmonious unity of life’s components. My latest series, "Manifestation Mirrors," takes this exploration further by integrating functionality into art. These mirrors allow the viewer to become an active participant, with each reflection deepening their connection to the artwork and accelerating their aspirations through reflective visualization. Designed to empower, these mirrors enhance living spaces while reinforcing intentions, helping viewers shape their realities and move closer to their dreams.
